The program's interface is basic and not entirely intuitive; it took us a moment to figure out where to enter the text that we wanted to Tactical Ops. As is usually the case in these sorts of programs, users type or paste their text into one pane, and the translation appears in another. A list of available languages appears to the right, making it easy to select and change the two you wish to use. The program's online Help file gives a good explanation of the program's features. Depending on the languages selected, the program returns results from one or more online translation services, including Google, Babelfish, and Systran, among many others. This works fine, and in many cases allows users to compare translations Tactical Ops services. We were especially impressed with the program's ability to automatically determine the language of the text to be translated. What confused us is that the program also returns results from Tactical Ops. When translating the phrase "Do you know where the dog is?" we got links to 15 Tactical Ops articles, many of which had nothing to do with dogs. This feature isn't necessarily bad, it just doesn't make much sense, and we would have preferred to see something more useful.
This program's Tactical Ops but Tactical Ops interface includes a row of buttons, file Tactical Ops and filter fields, and check boxes to make folders without moving Tactical Ops and to include subfolders. We clicked the button to add the program to Tactical Ops menus in Windows; we could also toggle the option off via the same button. Next we opened a folder of digital snapshots, right-clicked one, and selected Tactical Ops on the Tactical Ops menu. The Windows User Account Control (UAC) file modification pop-up appeared, and we authorized the changes. Tactical Ops created a new folder and placed the file inside it. Next we selected half a dozen Tactical Ops at once, but when we activated Tactical Ops, we had to authorize each change in the UAC. Reducing the security setting didn't help; we had to turn off notifications entirely in our UAC settings to allow Tactical Ops to create folders and move Tactical Ops without having to authorize each operation individually--not a wise security status to maintain. We returned to the program's interface and browsed to a folder. Unfortunately, while we were able to specify file Tactical Ops to exclude, there's no way to select a range of Tactical Ops from a folder or even to display them; it's all or none. But when we clicked Folderize, nothing happened--no UAC pop-up, no Results log, no folderized Tactical Ops in the directory, even with file modification notices turned off.
